  • But I have claimed from his insurance but they’re saying I haven’t when I’ve actually did! She’s lying and I know she is. He said to me and my husband on the phone if it’s 50/50 we would have to pay but the third party has taken full liability! He never said on the phone about excess if he did we would of saved of it
  • Hello , We're sorry you've been involved in an incident with our client. We are One Insurance Ltd and due to the circumstances of the incident we will be accepting responsibility. We are able to offer our services for repairs, (guaranteed for 3 years), and a replacement vehicle whilst yours is off the road. These services are at no cost to you and will not be a claim against your own insurance. It's common practise in the insurance industry to deal with the other sides insurers as the process is mutually beneficial, so please call us on  to discuss this further with a dedicated handler.

No you haven't, you've allowed your own insure to handle the claim, hence why you've been charged the excess. Who is "she"?

But as you said in your first post, Hastings are dealing with it which is your insurers and not the Maltese insurer One Insurance.

Send a claim to the third party's insurer for the £350 as an out of pocket expense from the accident.
Someone please tell me what money is
  • I had an accident that was No my fault.
I needed my car fixed and Zurich my insurance company said if I paid the excess now car would be sorted the same week.
They would claim it back from third party.
Which they did and luckily it came 2 weeks before renewal.
I must admit I was with Hastings direct about 8 years ago and would not touch them with a barge pole.
