Dumb question about Gmail

Thinking of going over to a Chromebook rather than another Windoze laptop, but I've always used Thunderbird for emails.  I have four different Gmail accounts, so the question is - if I go over to using the default Gmail setup on a Chromebook, would all my incoming emails show up in the same inbox, or would I have to open four separate inboxes to check incoming?

You will need to check each account.  hey all have their own inboxes.

You should be able to view all incoming mail (from the 4), think it is settings (at work currently so cannot check), basically you just need to add the incoming mail boxes into the initial mail box to see them.

Hopefully someone will do a check and advise accordingly.

Am almost sure it is settings (the cog image top left) and then accounts and import and then check mail from other accounts

You can be logged into all accounts at the same time and switch between them in a browser like chrome. I do this for my account and the 3 kids email accounts, 4 in total

In Gmail click your icon top right and "add another account".

You could apply a forwarder from 3 to 1 if that's easier in settings.

Don't forget that even if you read the email from all 4 accounts on one Gmail account, when you compose or reply the 'from' will show as the account you are using, not the account you are reading.

That is why having the accounts separate as suggested above is better
