Parking Charge Notice From LPS

Hi all,
I have received a parking charge notice from LPS (Local Parking Security Ltd) for the sum of £60.00. What are the chances of me avoiding this fine if I appeal?
My main concern is that they have sent date and time stamped photos of my vehicle entering and leaving the car park. I have up until the 16th of this month
to pay it or appeal.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks

Post a redacted copy picture of both sides of the postal NTK PCN ( not enough information in your post above try to answer your question )
Are you sure that it's £60 ? It's usually £100 reduced to £60 for early payment , so a one off 40% discount which you lose if you appeal later
Please read all of the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum in announcements too , for all the advice you need
Ps , parking companies rarely uphold appeals
It's not a fine , it's an invoice for alleged breach of contract2 -
- Have yuou read the newbies? Have you read other threads? Have you complained to your MP?
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1 -
Thanks Redx, photos as below. Yes, its the standard £100 but pay it within 14 days and it's £60 standard thing.....Redx said:Post a redacted copy picture of both sides of the postal NTK PCN ( not enough information in your post above try to answer your question )

Hi, yes I've had a read of those. Not complained to my local MP though, is that really going to achieve anything? Where I parked is more than 200 miles away from where I live...D_P_Dance said:- Have yuou read the newbies? Have you read other threads? Have you complained to your MP?

What's it for? The heinous crime of taking nine minutes to enter and leave, over and above two hours free or fully paid parking?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No mate, it's for the heinous crime of alledgedly not paying at all...... :-(Coupon-mad said:What's it for? The heinous crime of taking nine minutes to enter and leave, over and above two hours free or fully paid parking?1 -
Why was no payment made? Were the machines broken or the signs so appalling that the driver couldn't see any t&cs and no entrance sign either? If they were taking a chance, then you won't win at appeal unless on a technicality at POPLA stage, such as if you allege 'no landowner authority' and they fail to prove it (see 3rd post of the NEWBIES thread for POPLA points).PRIVATE 'PCN'?
