Inheritance tax and life insurance

I’m currently filling in the inheritance tax forms for my late mum’s estate and I’m not sure whether I need to include details of a lump sum from a life insurance policy which was held in trust, even though it’s not part of the estate or subject to IHT. If I do need to include it does anyone know where? Thanks in advance.

Sorry, couldn’t find the edit button but need to correct myself. It’s life assurance, not insurance.0

No, it does not need to be declared on the IHT forms.1

Thank you, that’s a relief.0
