Boots 3 for 2 offers

Having selected and paid for 6 Christmas presents on Boots the chemist 3 for 2 offers for my 84 year old mother in law I received a message that one item was not in stock. There was no offer of an alternative item or refund. This is poor customer care and I feel the marketing needs to be rebranded as follows ‘ 3 for 2 all being well or 5 for 6 with a fair wind or 2 for 2 if the gods are against us! Shame on you Boots the Chemists.
