BT Sport App

Hi. I recently bought the BT Sports app to watch football on my Smart TV and PC. The app works fine on my PC with a good quality picture and sound. However when I try to watch a match on my Samsung TV it starts off fine but then something goes wrong and the sound and picture is way out of sync. The sound is about 10 seconds behind the picture on screen which is very annoying. Can anyone suggest how I can get things sorted on my TV?
Thanks
Thanks

Update the app? (If there is an update). Or delete and reinstall on the TV?
PS - you don't buy the app; you buy a subscription to use the app.

I watch various streamed programmes on both a Samsung and Toshiba smart TV. I have far more trouble with programmes freezing and sync problems on the Samsung than I have on the Tosh. If I try to binge watch on the Samsung, when the second episode starts there is a noticeable delay in the sound. Sometimes it corrects itself but I often have to come out and reload the App.

Just a quick update on my experience with the BT app on Samsung. I was watching the Arsenal v Newcastle match (my own fault I admit) and for about a minute the sound sync was fine. Then the commentary repeated but the video continued uninterrupted meaning the sound was, and remained, several seconds out of sync. I closed the app and reload. Exactly the same thing happened. I also use the BT app via a Firestick on another TV and don't have the problem. Very odd.

Thanks. That is the problem I have when watching on my Samsung TV. Good to know the Firestick works. I will invest in one today. I assume I need the 4k Firestick?0

If you have a 4K TV then it doesn't hurt to get the 4K Firestick. However, is the BT Sport app stream 4K?Rockman60 said:Thanks. That is the problem I have when watching on my Samsung TV. Good to know the Firestick works. I will invest in one today. I assume I need the 4k Firestick?Jenni x2
