Wrong item

I received a jar of food supplements instead of a hard drive, returned it via the app choosing “wrong item sent” on the drop down list for returns.
Sent it back in the original packaging got a refund and now they want the hard drive back and going to take the money for it next week.  I never received the hard drive in the first place. Tried talking to them but getting nowhere.
Yes I should have been suspicious because the package was light.

And bought from Amazon themselves, or a third party seller?

Have you been on their online chat? Although a bit laborious and some odd use of English, I've been very pleased with how they've dealt with any problems I've had over the years

I’ve always found their customer services very good.  I bought a small heated pad which stopped working so they sent me a new one.  After a while that stopped working so they sent me another one.  When this happened a third time they asked me to send it to the manufacturers (made in the U.K.) plus they sent me a third AND refunded the original cost.  The manufacturers said I’d been “using it incorrectly” which was a joke as the operating instructions were very clear  :disappointed:

i bought a different brand with the refund and after 3 years it’s still working.

They are still wanting me to return it. I keep telling them I got the wrong item.
Bring back proper bricks and mortar shops.
