Hi,
I am looking for a new all in one printer. I have looked at Argos and found the following:-
http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10001&catalogId=1500000701&langId=-1&searchTerms=mp460&x=0&y=0
Is the above printer any good?
Thanks
M

Not sure about the canon. PCPro magazine did a review of several all in ones. See this link.

The question would be easier to answer if you said what is important to you and what isn't.
Do you need quick output and high volume? It's not the fastest.
Do you need good print resolution? It's not the best.
Do you need good scanner resolution? You can get better.
Do you need a cheap printer? It's not expensive.
Probably the easiest way forward is to go to the Canon website and use the "compare" facility to compare it with more expensive models, then decide if any of the factors justifies paying more.
One thing about Canon printers: in Which? magazine they have for a long time been rated one of the best makes in terms of print quality and cost to run (and no, I don't own one, yet...)0 -
I bought a Canon MP210 all in one a couple of weeks ago and am delighted with the quality of printing and copying (have'nt tried scanning yet). It was really cheap at £41 from Amazon plus £20 cashback from Canon (ie net £21).
I suspected the catch would be in the cost of ink carts as compatibles are'nt available but I've not had it long enough to work out the running costs yet.0 -
I just bought the MP210 from Amazon as well, although I paid £45, I've just sent off for my £20 cashback. It's not the best printer in the world but it's good enough for us and has enabled me to replace my old scanner as well. It's worth looking at if you're after a cheap printer. Mind you a set or replacment cartridges cost as much as the printer.
Review of the MP210 here couldn't find one on that site of the MP460 though. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0
