unknown CCJ has appeared

Not much to update other than my boss isn't happy. They only seem to be open in office hours and I've been on hold since they opened this morning. 

Looking online it seems two things are common, being on hold for hours not being able to speak to anyone and CCJs being awarded against people who know nothing about the alleged debt.

Seems some reform is needed but I doubt this is a new problem or that anything will be done about it.

Finally got through and they won't give me any details as I can't pass a security check to talk about the case as I don't know the details of the case!!!

They advised me to phone someone called the Registry Trust who will, for a fee, be able to give me the information required to be able to speak to the court about the case I knew nothing about.

Seems its from Gladstones Solicitors for parking in a 2 hour free parking supermaket car park for 30 mins. It seems that a company called LPC have a private car park opposite that shares an access road so I'm assuming they've 'mistakenly' issued it and conveniently sent everything to the wrong address.

The system seems to have a major flaw. I can pay the £287 fine now and there will be no trace on my credit report or I can pay £275 to appeal to have the case go back to court and argue my side.

Off to the parking fines forum I go. I feel on principle it has to be challenged.
