Morning all
Dry and bright here and no frost which is a bonus, I have stripped the beds today and got them on a hot wash, they can go on the line for a while and OH will remake the beds later we will put the electric blankets on them as well, as its getting very cold at nights and I like the window open.
Thank you for all the support I will wait and see what next week brings and then plan from then, I hope they come up with an alternative but Im not holding my breath !
Spoke with Nels last night she is going well and is glad to be back in rehab in her own room and she had a good session with the physio.
Got a click and collect to pick up this morning and will have a clean through, I shall have a nana nap this afternoon and then we have skeak and HM chips for dinner with garlic stuffed mushrooms and roasted tomatoes a saturday night treat.
Gers and Bella sending hugs to you both xxx

Morning all, it's a bit damp outside and I'm just going to have a chilling out day today. We all had a lovely day yesterday with Dad, he was in fine fettle and didn't seem to want to go home 😮 He finally left at about 7.30 pm with enough hm cooked lunches for the coming week, some left over sandwiches from teatime, his old camcorder bag and a new haircut. (He had left his camcorder and films for Mr Fix It to transfer to tape ages ago) Not sure about the halogen oven that he gave me, it looks a bit flimsy after mine, but we'll see, though I may have to buy a new one after all.The internet has outwitted the "expert" too it seems, so that's an ongoing project for the supervisor, he now has only 2 options left apparently, I don't care what he does, we need it fixed 🤬 We are paying for a service that's not even near up to par. There's plenty of gammon leftover and 2 potions of crumble, so we''ll have that for tea today. Maybe I'll try the halogen out with some oven chips or we'll have jacket potatoes, decisions, decisions.Faith hello and welcome to the thread.taff good to see you back. Glad that the house has been sorted too. The biscuits were all the ones no one wants i.e. the plain ones 😂 There are also some coconut ones (bought for himself ) that I don't like left in the tin and they are now stale apparently, yes but only because he ate my favs first 😣 I'm hoping that if I mix them all together as a biscuit base I won't taste the coconut 🤞🏽Right I suppose I must get dressed ? Answers on a postcard please 😁Take care all, stay safe.nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently9

Afternoon everyone
Just been having a catch up.
Little one was poorly on Thursday and ended up going to the 'big hospital' as she calls it. She's got a chest infection and got antibiotics - luckily they got home again yesterday afternoon. She stayed with me last night, we've had a lovely morning playing and now she's back upstairs napping. DD will pick her up when she wakes. They are going to a Haven site at Ayr on Monday so hopefully she'll be ok to go - DD got a very cheap deal as it's the last week it's open.
Cold and windy today - I don't seem to have been able to get warm. There were loads of really loud fireworks last night, just as I was putting little one to bed - they sounded like gunshots - she was really scared and took a long while to settle
Going to ring eldest DD while it's quiet Hope everyone has a good day10 -
I saw the sunrise - not usual for me. Left home at 7.30 to go to SA hall.
Got home about 2.30 having raised £420 which we are very happy about.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Suffolksue - thanks - I had 2 no shows for tables so in future I am taking a half amount as deposit which is a donation to the SA if they don't turn up. Stall holders were happy and asked to be informed about when we hold another one.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
