BPA parking fine

Hi. I recently received a BPA parking notice which is £100 ( £60) if payed early.
At this time I was not using the vehicle.
The person who was didnt notice any signs & was shopping with an elderly woman who took longer than expected. We feel this fine is unfair.
Do you have any info on such a case?
Many thanks

Please read the newbies and provide full details of the incident. Have you complained to your MP?You never know how far you can go until you go too far.3

Suggest you provide some more details . Which PPC. where, what does the ticket say, was it posted or on screen etc etc . The BPA are the trade association, not the invoicing companyThe pen is mightier than the sword ..... and I have many pens.3

You still haven't told us the name of the PPC.
In any case, the advice if the keeper lives in Scotland is fully detailed in the sticky Announcement for NEWBIES.
In a nutshell, complain to the landowner, ignore anything except court papers from a Scottish court for the next five years.
Note that the law in Scotland is about to change thanks to the idiotic behaviour of your dear leader who is following the dreadful law we have had down here since 2012. Sometime next year a keeper in Scotland will be liable for these charges even if they were not in the vehicle at the time of the alleged parking event.I married my cousin. Just as Fruitcake says above ^^^^
Please name the PPC
NEVER EVER NAME THE DRIVER IN SCOTLAND4 -
The notice says, this signage which is clearly displayed at the entrance to and throughout the carpark , states that this is a private land and that the car park is managed by parking eye ltd.
A maximum stay of 1hours 30mins .....0 -
Does the registered keeper live in Scotland?
If so, then follow the specific advice for Scotland from the NEWBIES and as given above.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks2 -

So Parking Eye , not the BPA
Red the advice for Scotland in the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum in announcements
No revealing who was driving
Plan A is the best option , a landowner cancellation2 -
Same as all the other Scottish cases. Read a few and the NEWBIES thread and complain to the retail park if the elderly passenger needed more time due to frailty or a medical condition.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
