People dont have their own General Data Protection Regulation for "their GDPR" to be misused.

If you mean has anyone done anything about their personal information being misused since  GDPR came into effect, yes lots of people have. You can see the fines already issued under GDPR and there will be many more cases where personal compensation has been given rather than regulator fines.

There will also be many cases where people have raised issues and had their complaints rejected.

Just look at the news the other week about the person who's sued their neighbour for CCTV cameras and the judge ruled it a breach of DPA and GDPR

Yes. people have taken action against companies as a result of breaches of GDPR - happens all the time.
What also happens all the time is that people complain about breach of GDPR on occasions that there has been no such breach.

If you give more details of the incident then people may be able to offer more specific advice on whether they think a breach has occurred and if so what you can do about it.
