Hi folks,
I have a, well I was going to say old, but probably in computer terms ancient, computer going to be 12 years old in february 22, SSD quad core AMD cpu, 12 gb ram, runs windows 10 pro great. loads of hard drive partitions.
Obviously not going to meet the criteria for windows 11, but maybe for the fun of it later on might try to install using the hacks around if still available and if I can get them to work.
What are the chances of getting windows 11 to install and run?
Thanks for any info.

Try it. If it works, it works. If it doesn't, it doesn't.Plenty of machines never designed for 10 run it happily. No doubt will be plenty can run 11 happily never mind what the "required" specs are.0

I watched this 8 minute clip on Youtube the other day and saved it for possible future reference. I'll run with Windows 10 for as long as it is supported by Microsoft or my desktop bites the dust (whichever is the sooner)My understanding is that once you've done it, there's no turning back. I'm sure you are well aware of the risks. There are over 1600 comments on the upload from viewers who have tried it and many report that it worked for them no problem.

It may work for now, but I guess there are no guarantees that it will survive the next upgrade? I’m struggling to see the point. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
