Amex Account Review?

in Credit cards
Amex keep asking me update the same information about personal and job etc, i don't get asked this with my other credit cards once i have received them however amex seem to have to keep checking and wanting updates.
I have never allowed any of my cards to run into debt so i know they can't be worried about that so has anybody had these questions on their account not allowing you to pass until you answer them, with my other two (non amex) cards i only get asked this information when applying not when i have been a customer for over a year.
I understand it might be a good thing that they check but it can be annoying to me when they ask about income all the time as my income fluctuates which can make things complicated, the fact i was accepted in the first place i would hope was enough.

Not in the regulatory world of today. They have no guarantee that your circumstances have not changed.Frank99 said:the fact i was accepted in the first place i would hope was enough.
Expect to be asked the same questions on your other cards in due course.2 -
Thank you for the link to this older thread, this has literally answered my question as the op was asking the same as me.born_again said:Enjoy everyday like it's your last!1 -
Thanks for the heads up on this, i had no idea it was about regulation i just thought they were picking on me, with the possibility of the other card providers asking for info in the future i need to get my house in order to keep everything as up to date and accurate.Deleted_User said:
