Breach of KADOE complaint to DVLA

As expected, a Letter Of Claim has now been received from BW Legal. I suppose a CCJ is likely to then follow so I will start thorough research into next steps to prepare my defence.0

A CCJ can't follow. You mean a N1 claim form? That is not a CCJ (judgment).
You should respond using the 'lack of good faith' point about the fake added costs (see my replies this month on any BE or Gladstones LBC stage thread).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sorry - my use of incorrect terminology! I meant that I have received a Letter Of Claim and it states that if I don't respond/pay by 12th April then BW Legal are instructed to issue a County Court claim. The letter includes a 30-day Reply Form and an Annex 1 Information Sheet; I don't see any reference to "N1".
I believe my next steps are to request a SAR from the PPC and write an email to BW Legal using the Newbie wording about seeking debt advice etc. I will research the "lack of good faith" point too. I will not return the forms provided by BW Legal.
My understanding is then not to take further action until I receive a Court Claim.0 -
You are quite right not to fill in their forms. The N1 claim form is what you will receive from the CCBC in Northampton - eventuality3
-
The NEWBIES already covers this? You send a "debt advice" email to BWL to put the process on hold for 30 days, and you also send a SAR to the parking company.Jenni x3

FYI - my intended email to the solicitor:
I have received your Letter Of Claim. I am writing to BW Legal to inform you that:
- I am seeking debt advice but I deny any debt and the case must be put 'on hold' for not less than 30 days under the PAP for debt claims 2017.
- I require you to remove the extortionate £60 Debt Recovery Costs and return the case to your client to re-issue the PCN to allow the appeals process, as the Government best practice intends.
- If you issue a claim, knowing that the add-on has been declared by the DLUHC Minister as 'designed to extort money from motorists', I will immediately report you to the SRA and will copy in my MP.
- I have sent your client a SAR.
