Germany -> London -> Edinburgh -> London: which test and where?

I am about to fly from Germany to Edinburgh and then to London. My current plan is the following: arrive from Germany to London on Sunday night, spend the night in a hotel near the airport, and take a flight on Monday morning to Edinburgh. Due to other commitments I cannot leave Germany early enough to fly to Edinburgh the same day I arrive to London. Afterwards, I will fly back to London on Wednesday. I am fully vaccinated. I am a bit puzzled as to which Day 2 test I need to take and where?
Do I need to take a test in Edinburgh? Formally speaking I am leaving Scotland on Day 2 after my arrival.
Can I take a test in London immediately after arrival and before taking a flight to Edinburgh? (There are Randox boxes near the airport which I could use)...
