I rather agree with you on the apps. They are good value with the discount, otherwise better to actually go to the supermarket for a small shop (where you will actually be able to buy things like fruit). But they do offer promotions beyond the original sign-up one. I ended up buying a load of very good value beer from gopuff, but I still need to go to the supermarket to buy the things I really need.GDB2222 said:I've recently signed up to ZAPP, which is a similar grocery delivery app. I got £10 credit, and my son got £10 as well for sending me a referral link. So, that's £20 for them to 'buy' a new customer.
I've used them just the once, to use up my credit.
Would I use them again? No, I don't need to pay someone to deliver a couple of somewhat over-priced items, although I was impressed how quickly the stuff arrived. About ten minutes from placing the order to the guy ringing my doorbell. So, really, that £20 hasn't bought them a new customer. It's bought them someone who has tried their service, but won't become a long term customer.
Given that the app is on my phone, what would be the point of running it on my PC? Geekery aside, ofc.
It would be a lot easier on my PC - easier to type in the search box, and navigate around.
If you are happy with the app on your phone, but prefer a bigger screen and keyboard, why not just use something like Teamviewer to control your phone?
Or, a bluetooth keyboard? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Teamviewer doesn't work. I get the message "This device supports screen sharing only."GDB2222 said:

what is the make and model of your PC? What processor? Approx how old is it.Chomeur said:
I can't do this upgrade because "TPM" (whatever that is), is not enabled. And when I start reading into how to enable it, it gets very involved...cx6 said:if you can, upgrade to windows 11 and google 'run android apps on windows 11'0
