I have a claim in for carers allowance, it’s been in for a few weeks and I still haven’t heard anything back.I will use the calculator now, if we do apply for UC do I call and cancel my carers allowance, if and when the get back to me0

If you are earning more than £128 per week you won't be entitled to carers allowance. Though it doesn't matter anyway because if you claim UC the carers allowance is deducted in full from the UC entitlement. You don't need to claim carers allowance to be entitled to the carers element of UC.
