Civil enforcement parking charge

Hi
I have a parking charge sent in the post today. I went over my allotted time I’d paid for by half an hour.

I have an online receipt of payment.
Will I really have the pay the reduced amount of £60 for a delayed 30 mins?
If I can be pointed in the right direction as to what to write/complain to civil enforcement that would be great.
Thanks

So to correct your opening post... 'Your husband has received a parking charge...'.
That is an important distinction.
You will have read in the NEWBIES thread that a keeper has more protection than a driver has in these situations.
I suggest the keeper of the vehicle sends the blue text template appeal easily found in the first post of the NEWBIES thread. Send it unchanged.3 -
You (the driver) are not appealing it and the template is all the keeper needs to submit for now.
What was the reason for overstay and could you not have topped up?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

My phone died while I was at an appointment so I didn’t get the notification/text to top up for the additional 30 mins.1 -
Did Civil Enforcement comply with POFA ? Yes or no
If yes , they can and will hold the keeper liable as keeper , even though they were not driving !
The driver has no liability unless named by the keeper , so you received nothing , your husband did , as keeper ( quite rightly so )
If CEL complied with POFA , then the only chance of a win is on a technicality
Plan A is the best solution , it ALWAYS is ! , Which is why it's plan A , but you seem to have skipped it and gone straight to plan B , the keeper appeal using the blue text template !!
Try plan A , without revealing who was driving
It would appear that insufficient time was paid for , with no attempt to rectify it , after the fact , hence the NTK PCN to your husband , the keeper1 -

yes they did include a POFA in the letter.I went to the template as per the advice given above.I’ve never dealt with parking charges and fines before; I always pay for appropriate time it just so happened this time I wasnt on the ball for my timings. With what you’re saying regarding the POFA being stipulated in the letter and with this the only chance of a win is on a technicality; so you’d say it’s best to just pay the £60 now?Even though my husbands the registered keeper as it was me driving I’ll be paying it.0 -
None of us are telling you to pay.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
