uSwitch SIM deals

Hi everyone,

I was looking to change my SIM only deal since I feel that in remote environment, I am not using it as I would need it when I was outside.
But, when I am looking at the mobile sim provider website e.g. O2, the deal is not displayed under SIM only deals. But, it is on uSwitch, but when I click buy sim, it takes me to the O2 website - but again, I can only find this 'uSwitch' deal when I go through the website, when I try to normally find it under sim only deals on the O2 website, it is not there.

Does this mean there is a twist to these uSwitch deals or are they just as reliable as any other normal deal on the O2 website? I don't want any hidden T&Cs etc, where I might not have some normal benefits that are normally included?

If anyone has used uSwitch, can you please let me know how it went for mobile sim only deals?

Thank you!

Can't speak for O2, but I switched to Lebara via Uswitch where the same deal wasn't available direct from Lebara with no issues at all. I'm guessing (happy to be corrected) that Uswitch, like other comparison sites, get a kick back for getting customers to sign up and they can get enough customers through for the mobile companies to set up a special discount deal for them. MSE some times has similar.
If it takes you to an o2 page, can't see that you'd have any issues

Ah I see, this makes sense, thank you! Yes, it was through an 'affiliate' link which I thought earns them some money. I understand now, thank you - it was just unusual as I've never used it, so was a bit wary.
