Order not received issue

I placed an order online on the 13th October, paying the extra for 24 hour tracked delivery. Had a dispatch email but no tracking from the company. The orders never arrived, despite several emails I've not even had a reply!

Yesterday I spoke to the bank who advised I started a chargeback as I'd paid the £93.50 on my Visa debit card so emailed and let the company know.

Overnight I've received a reply stating 'Oh dear, sorry for the delay. We'll resend recorded delivery' however I've now purchased the same item which has been received already!

Where do I stand?!

The problem is that they ignore emails and the phone line is usually busy!  I've sent them a message saying I want to cancel though!

Persist and ultimately if the order does turn up then return it (assuming you ordered online/over the phone and its not a perishable item or such that isnt covered by distance selling rules)

Just refuse delivery. Tell whoever delivers it that this is what you are doing just in case the decide to leave it on the doorstep 

You don't have to go to the bother of returning it,
