Yes - I needed protecting from myself! I don't remember the actual negT value was, but I do remember that the BISG's were limited to 100Nm - I'm not sure if that was for belt durability though.0

Whilst everything proceeding is a just lovely discussion the point that the op is not full control of the car remains. The constant that is gravity will apply, as will friction, of which the driver has no control of and of course acceleration by the driver isn't an instant option. Not good idea full stop.1

Yeah my 2015 Golf does the same in Eco mode. Vw says this is more economical than other modes which don't coast when you lift off the throttle.basill said:Does it have eco mode?
