Isn't there any UK sellers that sell these pushchairs? I'd hate to have to send a pram all that way back if it was faulty and anyway they have no stated returns policy.

i had looked at german sellers on prams/pushchairs but the distance for returns put me off tbh
  • To be honest if it is a brand that is sold in the UK most of the big names will honour the warranty over here , Peg Perego is the European brand name of Mamas & Papas but if you send your PP to M&P Huddersfield they will do the work . Same with Bugaboo , their warranty is International . Quinny , Maxi Cosi and Bebe Confort are all owned by Dorel and they will also honour warranties .

Are we looking at the same item? At the bottom it has a standard “Item must be returned within: 14 Days of receipt.” The Distance Selling Regulations are EU legislation. It’s the same all over the EU*. Lot’s of the stuff to protect the little guy comes from the EU, e.g. The Distance Selling Regulations, The Data Protection Act and The Human Rights Act. You don’t think a British government would have implemented all this voluntarily? :) However, it’s the PayPal refund policy that’s the problem. To get a refund in a PayPal dispute, the buyer has to return the item at his or her own cost.

*Before anyone mentions that we always point out that you don’t have these rights when buying from Jersey, Jersey not part of the UK. It’s a possessions of The Crown and has a special relationship with the EU.
