Hi everyone,
Is FreeTrade a good online platform to get into investing for beginners? As in, a sort of way to trial out investing and get into the rhythms of it, since it doesn't have many fees.
I am talking about investing in stocks and shares, no ISAs on this platform - since there are no fees for buying or selling stocks? So, I can sort of get into working out how my stock price moves and all without really paying much fees?
Thank you!

FreeTrade does offer an ISA, but with a £3 monthly fee. The general trading account has no monthly fee, although there is obviously a 'spread' between the buying price and selling price of a stock at any time. If you want to buy something priced in a foreign currency you pay a somewhat high fee for the currency exchange.
Since your goal now is simply to try out buying and selling, why not open one of the demonstration accounts that all the major platforms offer? That would be completely free.
