Irritating small balance on Prepaid Mastercard

I've recently acquired a prepaid mastercard as part of our company reward scheme, having used the card to buy some blinds, I'm left with a small balance of £5.90. Mastercard advise me I can neither transfer this balance nor add to it so I can use the card again. I presume most people just forget about the dregs left on cards and Mastercard pockets them- very annoying! Other than by making a charitable donation, I can't think of another way to spend such a small sum online.
Has anyone else found a way round this small but irritating problem?

Cant you go into a shop and spend it?1

Add it to your Amazon account and use it up as part payment next time you buy something.1

If you have an Amazon account you can use it to top up your balance - the top up amount is totally up to the user. I do this with the £4 prepaid gift cards I get from doing Pinecone surveys.1

Do any of your usual bills (water, electric, home service charge, mortgage, rent, Sky, phone bill etc....) accept one off or regular card payments from a card? Pay £5.90 off a regular bill and then you have an extra £5.90 to spend from your bill pot.3
