Survey complete, a few red flags

So looking for a bit of advice on our recent survey if possible!
Gas and electric were both flagged red due to lack of any certificates, and the surveyor also highlighted a socket that's been taped up in "dangerous" tape. Following this, I feel it's important to have at least an EICR check done on the property to verify everything is done properly, is it reasonable to ask the vendor to provide this?
Similarly there's no evidence of any gas safety or central heating services ever being done.

You can ask but I wouldn't expect the seller to pay for an EICR. You will most likely have to pay to have any checks done on the boiler or other gas appliances as well.
Surveyor probably flagged them because they are not an electrician or gas safe engineer so aren't qualified to make an assessment.0 -
There's no obligation to have either certificate (presuming not currently a rental).
Up to you if you want to get them checked out.
Standard for these to be flagged in a survey. As above, it's because they're not qualified/trained to inspect them.
How old is the boiler?2024 wins: *must start comping again!*0 -
So, in reality no red flags. Sounds good!2

Gas and electric were both flagged red due to lack of any certificates, - that's normal: seller isn't required to get certificates and surveyors usually aren't gas / electric qualified. So the 'flag' is really just an "I don't know, ask someone else"
and the surveyor also highlighted a socket that's been taped up in "dangerous" tape. - Could just be a broken socket box, negligible cost to replace.
Following this, I feel it's important to have at least an EICR check done on the property to verify everything is done properly, is it reasonable to ask the vendor to provide this? - Can ask, not reasonable to expect though. The buyer usually pays for any checks, and GSC or EICR are just additional checks you can choose to have, which your surveyor didn't do.

Cheers all, appreciate the responses. Expect I'm just getting a bit excited/nervous about it as the process is flying along very fast.0

Onwards we go then, to the next stage!0 -
Misty windows are normal due to blown seals, dependent on size can cost between £80-200. The electrics if you will go for an EICR but beware it will likely come back with lots to do based on todays regulations. A lack of certificates and one socket with DIY tape as red flags on a survey would tell me all is fine as its easy to replace a socket for less than £5.
I would enquire about the boiler more, service detail, age etc.0
