Urgent help needed with reporting an issue/complaint to my travel agent

  • STA Travel have admitted their mistake and have offered me a solution although i dont think it, and their apology is acceptable. Also, what with the very poor service i have receieved in trying to rectify this situation. I strongly beleive i have a case for them to offer me a better solution, and even compensation. I want to write a letter to them in response to what they have just Emailed me. Can somebody please help. I would love to send you the Emai i sent them, and what they sent back -so at to get feedback on what i shpuld and can write back.

    I am lost for words but i a know would a good letter, i can get compensated fairly.

    When they say that economy is full or they only have a certain amount of seats - that is not quite the case. Economy seats are labelled as different classes (and given a letter code) depening on the type of seatie 'Y class', 'X class' etc. Student/U26/discounted tickets are booked in 'V class'. These are available to any travel agent not just STA. They will not want to provide another ticket in that class as it will cost them more than they have charged you.

    If they really have messed up then i think you should push them to provide you with a full economy fare (forget business class - IMO that is not reasonable)
