Phone contacts for UK students studying in Spain

I am trying to find a phone contract for my daughter- a UK student studying in Spain. She is with 02 but due to the “fair trade” part of the contract is running out of data even though she has 100g data in the contract . The fair trade element of it means that she can’t access that much data whilst in Spain. That is only for the UK. She has only 50g there. Wifi not very good at all  in the student accommodation so costing a lot of money. Any suggestions for students without having to get another SIM in Spain? Thanks

A local data SIM deal is going to be the cheapest option, whether contract or PAYG might depend on how long she will be there.

If she is staying more than 3 months, better to get a local sim and a dual sim mobile.
