Should I ask estate agents for updates?

Quite far along in a house purchase and my solicitor has completed the property report for the house I am buying. Should I ask the estate agent for updates on the sellers onward purchase?

Yep - a good EA should be talking to other EAs up and down the chain, who should in turn be talking to their clients.
But each EA will only know what their client tells them - and the client might fib and/or the EA might put a positive spin on things.
(In the past, I've spoken directly to other EAs in the chain to find out how things are going. And it turned out that my own EA seemed to be misleading me.)

Thanks! I’ll give them a call now because I have no clue what’s going on.0
