How can I sell ethereum? Should I pay tax?

New to the UK.
I have very old ethereum coins in a physical wallet that worth few thousand pounds.

In which platform can I sell them and get the money into my UK bank account?
Should I pay tax? How will it be calculated?

Assuming you don't have other capital gains in the same tax year as you sell, disposing of a few thousand pounds worth of crypto wouldn't result in any tax liability as it is well within the CGT allowance. There are a number of options for an exchange you can use to sell them. I used Binance to liquidate my crypto holdings earlier this year, but someone might be able to suggest a better option for now.
