I get what you’re saying, but I’m asking for anyone that has attempted it - whether that resulted in a fine or not.

Have you specifically had first hand experience of this? Because I believe several times now, that is what I have asked for

I understand that I am at risk of it not being able to be used. I understand that any judgement I make is my own risk. I understand that I’m trying to find an interpretation of the rule, possibly naively. I also understand that using a picture of noddy isn’t a great idea. You may have formed your own idea of my intelligence based on a forum post, but surprisingly enough, I wasn’t planning on using that either.

Again, I’ll make my request very clear: has anyone had, or witnessed direct, first-hand experience of attempting to use the COVID recovery pass, success or no success?

disclaimer; I do actually have the later return flight booked, as I have the full intent to stick to the letter of the law, whether that law is logical or not….but I would still like to know if someone has had an actual experience of being a non-fully vaccinated traveller, and attempted to return to England using the NHS COVID Recovery pass.

In situations like yours, it is best to stay under the radar. Book day2 and day 8 tests. Without booking the tests you risk the airline not allowing you to fly. Showing the recovery pass is a red herring, it isn't in any of the legislation allowing you to fly home, the airlines won't risk accepting it. Once home you can have a conversation with 119 about how long you need to isolate when you are 15 days post your second vaccine.

Probably not, because you aren't allowed to do it.
