Credit refund igloo (switched before they went bust)

Sorry if this has already been asked, I switched from igloo shortly before they ceased trading. I had a credit balance and on the 12th of October they emailed me to say they would refund that credit within 7 days, it’s now the 30th of October & I haven’t received my refund. Attempts to contact them seem to result in being redirected to eon but I switched before they took over. Any advice / ideas how to get my money back please?

You'll get your refund from Igloo's successor, E.ON Next. They have the job of dealing with accounts like yours.

It won't be quick and could be well into next year (some people suggest as long as early 2023).

I'm in the same position; I had the "credit refund within 7 working days" email on 16th October. I figured it was probably an automated email, with text from before they went bust, and the 7 day thing was never going to happen.

You may have to wait a few months as the SoLR customer services team will give priority to the customers that they have gained. Normal rules about compensation etc will not apply as Igloo no longer holds a Supply Licence.
