Octopus Energy Currently Not Accepting New Customers

In case anyone doesn't know,Octopus Energy are currently not accepting new customers.

I emailed them and they are advising customers to stay where they are till after the Winter.

  • We've been moved to them following Avro administration but I'm not convinced about Octopus tarrif's. Looks like we've got no choice than stay with them for a while.

    Octopus meant they didn't want people moving and would advise them not too.

    I don't think any Energy Suppliers are taking on new customers just now,they would be daft to.

    I wonder where Bulb's customers are going to end up?

    Moved to them last week by phoning them, they are still taking on new customers.

    They dont want more new customers with the current prices fixed until the next revision. For that reason they make less easy to sign with them now.

    I emailed Octopus Eneergy and asked if they were accepting new customers,here is a copy of my reply received,


    Hi ---,

    Thank you for getting in touch!

    Unfortunately we aren't looking to sign on any new customers at the moment due to the spike in energy prices, we are advising everyone to stay with their current supplier and not to switch.
