hi,
i have a Logitech mk270 mouse/keyboard combo which I've used for 5 years. occasionally over the years the mouse has gone all weird but juggling the battery or changing it out has put the issue right.
but now it just won't behave. as i move the cursor around its as if the two buttons are being continuously clicked so its causing havoc.
i wondered if i could delete / reinstall drivers but not sure where they are, or maybe the mouse has just had its last piece of cheese?
ideas?
thanks.

Hi,can you get into the guts of it and give it a clean out, probably bits of digestive biscuit stuck inside.2

i may aswell have a crack(er). do you happen to know, i see i can buy the exact mouse on its own (keyboard is fine), and i do love this mouse. would i need to use the dongle with the new mouse and the dongle with the existing keyboard or can both be synced to one dongle?[Deleted User] said:Hi,can you get into the guts of it and give it a clean out, probably bits of digestive biscuit stuck inside.

edit. had the thing apart and given a good clean with a air blaster thing and its still the same

A new one will probably sync ok.
I have a logitech LX8 (7buttons and a scroll) and they do get a bit messy inside.
Pretty easy to take apart and clean everything.
Screws under the battery
Often in mine it is a hair causing the trouble or a load of dust.
I keep it going(12y+) because there is no suitable replacement found yet.1 -
