I love a happy ending - thanks for sharing

Good luck with your new house, and although there may be stuff to do, it sounds like you got a great deal, although maybe paid for it in stress
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine

Well done for sticking with it!  Sounds like it was worth it.  I hope you're very happy there 🙂

Thank you. Omg yess. We paid for it in stress tenfold. It's nice to not lie awake having heart palpitations from it though x

I'm glad it's sorted (2nd thread now this week where difficult purchase has successfully concluded).
After all that stress it's nice when it lifts.
Again, the selfishness of people being difficult and dragging others into their mess at a generally stressful time really hisses me off!!
If there is an issue over split of inheritance, sell the property, stick the money in an interest account and fight it out there, but don't drag some poor soul in. They don't care about you mean sibling/s really, they just want to live in peace.
Also get a will and make it clear and straightforward.
(Sorry last line isn't aimed at Op, but to will-less people who think they'll have time / it will all be okay / don't want to plan for worst).
May you find your sister soon Helli.
    Sleep well.
