Yes, your wifi router has outdated security protocols enabled, probably WEP/WPA or WPA2 TKIP.

Make sure your wifi router is set to use WPA2 PSK / AES or WPA3 and the message will stop occurring.

Before you ask how to do that, please supply the exact make / model of your wifi router or whatever wifi access point you are using when you get that message.

Follow page 5 in this guidance document:

    https://www.vodafone.co.uk/cs/groups/public/documents/webcontent/vfcon098518.pdf

See the setting at the bottom of page 6 - change it from WPA + WPA2 to WPA2 (or WPA2/WPA3 if available).

Well..  I had to eventually contact Vodafone by phone . What they are saying is that my security isn’t compromised and it’s apple who are being over cautious and that there is nothing to worry about ,

Advisor also suggesting making sure I have latest updates on devices. Just doing that now . Seems to be every other week these days ..

However, as both my broadband and mobile tariffs had expired earlier in the year I have been given better speed and better packages for both with me paying a fee £ a month less .
I will be receiving a new router in the next few days also .

    I’ll leave it there ..

    Thanks again
