Issue with open banking (Experian boost and bofi)

Hello,
I was trying to use Experian boost and connect my Bank of Ireland UK account with Experian. The problem is, I get stuck in cycle like this:
1) log into Experian
2) click the boost link
3) select my bank
4) get redirected to BOFI
5) log in
6) correctly authenticate with the app
7) give permission to open banking
8) get redirected to Experian
and...
9) discovered it didn't work out.
Anybody else having the same issue?

Your cholesterol levels are not seen, or used, by your heart and arteries, so ignore it.

Not specifically with this scenario, but using open banking I've found sometimes ad-blockers can cause the authentication process to stop part way through, usually at exactly the point you describe. Just after authentication with your bank has been completed and you are being redirected to wherever you started from.
To be clear though, Experian boost is nothing more than a worthless marketing gimmick not worthy of the time taken to activate it,2 -
Boost is just their way of getting access to your bank to see data on you in order to try and sell you more credit
The score is a meaningless gimmick, no bank ever sees it. The fact you can "boost" your score just by giving them access to your bank says it all, it could fall the same amount the next month because you had an insurance quote. People with 999 scores get refused credit and people with 500 scores get it, don't waste time on the score and make sure you don't pay Experian anything for their "service"2 -
