Black Friday cannot be that far away  .

Black Friday is often not the best source of deals. I have seen TV's lower or comparable prices especially around tech refresh dates.

Correct  but it can also have excellent deals ,its a question of looking rather than saying no bargains to be had .
My first port of call is always AV Forums  for information .

I watched one of the usual suspects put a grand on a top of the shop OLED once around July, they dropped the grand around now and claimed sale price, it had been the lower price for some time. The other places kept the price low all the way through. Black Friday seems a smoke and mirrors device now to shift units. I suppose it depends what you are in the market for and how long you can wait.

Not saying there are not any deals but I think the name has overtaken and pays to do your research if you have time.

Covid might have changed the market as a lot of people revised their in home entertainment options over 2020/2021

2020 discounted models seem to be in short supply and 2021 are yet to reduce.

A few brands don't launch at excessive margin so their discounts always look smaller.

The C1 models linked above would suggest otherwise, and they've actually been cheaper as well.
