New bank account query

Hi everyone, I am looking for some advice.
I want to set up a basic bank account to for use in work as we want to sell off a lot of items that we no longer use and use the money for 'GREEN' initiatives within the company. I am looking to run this on behalf of the company but the company will not be involved as it will be part of an internal group that has been set up but wasn't sure if we can just use any type of account?

You'll want to use a business account and get it in the name of the company.
Don't open a personal account in your name and use it for business.3
