Am I missing something ?
My motorola G7 phone only outputs audio to the left hand channel
I have checked it using two different bluetooth headphones - that both work - tested on my tablet !
I have gone through the menu and cant find any reasons for this
there is no obvious balance control

Have you removed any dust in the sockets ? ( usb / headphone socket )
Have you got a wired set of headphones to test the levels there ?It's amazing how my old iPhones used to get clogged up with dust , and I used a paper clip to fix a problem I once had .Is your phones software up to date ?
I don't use Samsung phones unfortunately , but it may be worth a try ..0 -
Check the connector on your phones, is it four pole or three pole.(three pole = tip, ring, sleeve, four pole = tip, ring 1, ring 2, sleeve, like this https://www.petervis.com/electronics/4-pole-jack/4-pole-jack-wiring.html
Not sure what the phone has got but I have lots of similar problems when I plug my wire headphones which are fitted with a threepole plug into my MP3 player or laptop jack which I'm guessing are fourpole. (left, right, mic, gnd)Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers1 -

I think the OP is referring to Bluetooth headphones.
Check in Accessibility settings to make sure 'mono' side is not enabled.
Check in Settings > Sound > Advanced for same eg mono, 1 channel etc1 -
Found it
It is the balance control in "acccessibility" which was set incorrectly
What a stupid place to put balance1
