M25 on Sunday evening?

We need to travel from Junct.9 clockwise this Sunday to Junct.23  and I wonder what time the usual stop-start crawl will end? Thinking we will get to J9 at about 8PM or should w leave a bit later?

    The usual stop-start crawl is unpredictable.

    What time do you want to arrive at J23?

    It sounds as if there is no great urgency on that so I suggest you plan to get to J9 about an hour prior to that time. That should allow for the usual Sunday evening slow moving traffic.

    If you can, check Google Traffic beforehand and adjust that time according to the then traffic conditions.

    If you can leave later then you will probably have a quicker journey but conversely it could take longer given the vagaries of M25 traffic.

    On a Sunday? It might be a little sticky around Heathrow, but any time will be fine.

    What you can't predict of course are accidents, or people glueing themselves to the slip roads, both of which are now almost daily occurrences.
