Utility Point to EDF - how long to get an account number?
Hi all,
Like many others both our and my Dads supply with Utility Point was transferred to EDF on 21st Sept. I look after my Dads utilities too so have been getting emails regarding both our accounts and welcoming us to EDF but over a month in we still don't have any login or account numbers. Does anyone know how long this is likely to take?
thanks
Paul

Your guess is as good as ours. EDF say it’ll be done when it’s done. The last SOLR EDF did took 5 months for many customers according to discussions on here, so don’t hold your breath for any details before February 2022. Ridiculous, I know.0

Just had mine via email last night (GAS ONLY) , hopefully some progress being made.
I've registered for the EDF online account, and it has my details but no meter readings or credit balance from U.P as yet.1 -
Still nothing from them here - the DD is still going out so at least we're not going to find ourselves either being billed at the non DD rate or ending up in deficit on the account. I'm working on the basis that at some stage they'll be wanting a gas meter reading too. As there's pretty much nobody else as an option for us at the moment (tiny gas user to the extent that most companies see the numbers and decide not to bother) I'm working on the basis that I might as well just sit back and let it al happen when it happens...🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Yes - but you haven't paid anything to EDF yet have you - all DD's are continuing to show UP. So think of it in terms of having £162.50 credit on what will be your new EDF account, when that is set up.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
