Fine for Shoreham Basin by GXS no time to appeal now been given to TRACE debt recovery *HELP*

Hi All,
I used to regularly park at Shoreham Basin and use PaybyPhone parking App. I stupidly left my old vehicle registered on the app and made a mistake by paying for parking for a van that had been scrapped instead of my actual vehicle registration.
The contravention occurred on 24/4/21, yet I did not receive a parking charge notice from GXS Services Ltd until 10/9/21 which is a total of 108 days.
I tried to appeal via GXS services website which was useless, the phone number goes to an answerphone and the link for appeal online does nothing. Reading the letter again, I decided to appeal via e-mail using their suggesting address of gxs.zatappeal.com which takes you to the same static holding page for GXS. On the bottom of this page is an e-mail address info@gx-s.uk.
I e-mailed my appeal to that address on 14/10/21 with a screenshot showing I had parked at Shoreham Basin and paid each time and did in fact pay on this date albeit with the wrong reg by mistake. I received nothing in reply.
On 14/10/21 (the same date as my appeal!) GSX sent another letter stating that the charge was now £100 and unless paid within 7 days would be given to Trace a debt collection company.
On 18/10/21 I tried to lodge an appeal with the IAS via the online form and was told I was out of time and could not lodge an appeal, I decided to send an enquiry stating that I had tried to appeal but GSX had not replied. I also contacted GSX via e-mail requesting a response to my appeal.
The ISA replied and stated they have seen my rejection of the appeal by GSX which was sent the 15/9/21...I think GSX are being fraudulent as I never received this as a letter or as an e-mail.
GSX then sent an email on 20/10/21 (The same date they sent it to ISA!) with a copy of the rejection that I never received in the post despite receiving everything else...Obviously, I cannot prove this but IAS will no longer let me appeal I am feeling very frustrated with the whole experience.
I have now received a letter from Trace the debt collection company dated 22/10/21 for a debt of £160 and a threat to go to county court.
Please HELP, how I can take this further as I'm getting really annoyed with the whole thing.

Why are you stressing about a bottom-crawling debt collector with no powers? Read the NEWBIE sticky fourth post, which is all about debt collectors. When you have digested that and stopped worrying, read the rest of the sticky second post as you will/might receive a letter of/before claim and that is when you take notice.2

It is not a fine, please read the newbies. Have you complained to your MP.?You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1

All I needed to read was your heading. You don't need help. Ignore Trace and all you need to do is tell GXS to erase any old address if they hold one. I didn't read your post (sorry there was no need) so not sure if Trace 'traced' you to a new address but if they did you must tell the PPC to erase the old address, so you always see ALL letters.
Come back if you get a claim. I am helping* several people with GXS cases there as I am from West Sussex myself
* when I say 'helping' I mean I told them same as you, don't show us any daft TRACE letters and come back if they try a silly claim. Get on with your life but keep all letters.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It is not a debt unless a judge says it is. Also, they have added what appears to be an extra unlawful amount for debt collection. Judges have dismissed an entire claim because of this. Read this and complain to your MP.Excel v Wilkinson
At the Bradford County Court, District Judge Claire Jackson (now HHJ Jackson, a Specialist Civil Circuit Judge) decided to hear a 'test case' a few months ago, where £60 had been added to a parking charge despite Judges up and down the country repeatedly disallowing that sum and warning parking firms not to waste court time with such spurious claims. That case was Excel v Wilkinson: G4QZ465V, heard in July 2020 and leave to appeal was refused and that route was not pursued. The Judge concluded that such claims are proceedings with 'an improper collateral purpose'. This Judge - and others who have since copied her words and struck dozens of cases out in late 2020 and into 2021 - went into significant detail and concluded that parking operators (such as this Claimant) are seeking to circumvent CPR 27.14 as well as breaching the Consumer Rights Act 2015. DJ Hickinbottom has recently struck more cases out in that court area, stating: ''I find that striking out this claim is the only appropriate manner in which the disapproval of the court can be shown''.

They have added a fake £60 WHICH YOU DO NOT OWE
Trace cannot take you to court, only the PPC can do that.
You ignore all the TRACE gusto and rubbish, they are akin to another so called unregulated debt collector called DRP ....... SAME APPLIES
You can see from this Coupon-mad thread about TRACE ..

They offer the PPC's "NO WIN NO FEE" ....... meaning that the fake £60 add-on is just a lot of old rubbish and YOU would be wise to ignore TRACE, the fools give up after a while and wasting their money
