Only if the tickets are refundable.

And you wouldn't go via the bank (there's no case for a chargeback claim, as the train company are still providing the service - the fact that you no longer need to travel is not relevant). You need to go back to the Train Operating Company / outlet that you bought the tickets from. Even If the tickets are refundable, then they'll probably charge an admin fee as they have no obligation to refund in these circumstances.

It depends if you bought cheap non refundable tickets or ones that you can amend the date to travel.

I'm thinking that as you bought the tickets in advance they were the cheap non refundable ones so no refund due. Why not find something else to go to in the same location if you've already got tickets?

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Though even if you're not travelling (and aren't otherwise entitled to a refund), keep an eye on whether the trains actually run. If they're cancelled and you don't travel on an alternative service then you're entitled to a full refund.
  • What type of tickets are they? What dates are the train tickets for?

Until 31 December, you may be able to take advantage of the 'Book with Confidence' scheme which significantly eases some of the normal restrictions associated with Advance tickets https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/times_fares/ticket_types/46594.aspx

(Your refund may be in the form of Rail Travel Vouchers rather than cash)

No, chargeback right.. As train is still available.

But 1st instance you need to ask train company.

You may have no need to travel, but that doesn't mean your bank has any reason to refund the ticket cost.  The train is still travelling, but you are choosing not to use it.  Your ticket wasn't purchased with any condition stating that you would be entitled to a refund if the gig was cancelled, unless purchased as a rail and gig ticket package.
  • I think you misunderstand the reason for the chargeback scheme - the tickets being of no use isn't the train company's or the bank's problem, so neither are under any obligation to refund (unless the T&Cs allow refunds).

Chargeback isn't a scheme  to just get money back when you decide you no longer want / need something.
