Morning all. It's dry today, first one this week !! Rain is forecast from 3pm though and to last till goodness knows when, so we'll be moving the last ( hopefully) of the chippings before it starts. I did a load in the wm yesterday and had to dry it indoors but I didn't get round to doing the big freezer shuffle, I did the small one though and found some beef casserole, so that's tea sorted. I think I'll bake some fresh bread to go with it. I have a few other things I'd like to get done too but they're are not set in stone for today...... and of course there's always tomorrow 😉Scarlett I'll hoik out the Sandman from his lair for you and hopefully he'll help you sleep tonight.RedRuby sorry some people were horrible about the entrance fee. Please send Nels all my love and I hope she recovers quickly 🧡Camelot glad you got the supplier sorted eventually.taff hope you're ok in my part of the world and not washed out ☔😁Right better get my " dirty " gear on and make a start with those chippings or I'll be counting them in my sleep if i don't get it finished today.Take care all, hugs and love.nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently10

Morning, hugs if you need one.
So we have an empty bungalow in the close, our neighbour finally went into her new abode yesterday afternoon. Her son emailed this morning to say she was settled when they left. They have unpacked most of her stuff, going back Saturday to finish off.
I have laundry out, the sky is rather grey, we are not fore cast rain, but it looks very like it.
Have had a bit of a clear out in the cupboards where I store the cleaning stuff, have put out some china which we will never use, it can go to the charity shop.
Cooked a piece of gammon, we will have some tonight with potato, peas and cheese sauce. There is a Morrison delivery coming at lunch time, stock up for the cupboard ready for any bad weather. Made soup with the liquor from the gammon, for lunch with some toast.
DB out in the garden, we both had a bad night, he developed palpitations just after supper, it was 3am before they went off, so feeling a bit like a wet lettuce this morning.
Sorry to hear that Nels has had to go back into hospital, hope things are better soon. Gers, how nice to be able to complete your Mums wishes, another task completed. Love the sound of your plans for the front garden. Ours is going to change too, we are moving plants from B's garden tomorrow.8 -
Hi everyone,
I'm taking advantage of the fact that Steve and Brian have taken Esben and Ziggy out for a walk. I would have gone but my achilles tendon has somehow become very sore. Laura is on a Zoom thing to do with her College course.
Last night when they arrived Esben's bear fell in a muddy puddle so Laura put it in a pillowcase in the washing machine. Esben was ok when it went in but halfway through the wash cycle he went over to it and started crying and calling out Bear, Bear, it was heart rending. Anyway it's out now, it just needs to dry but it's not being pegged out, it's sitting on a radiator.
I made a date and walnut loaf yesterday but it's not been cut into yet, I hope it's ok.
Ruby, please send my best wishes to Nels.
Have a good day.

Mr F took some bits to the charity shop. He had already been round to the SA hall twice with the bags of clothes that we rescued yesterday.
Been working on some Christmas wreaths. I bought metal frames and covered them with wadding and hessian ribbon. The lights are from £la... Worst job was attaching the lights with invisible thread.
