EDF 'Tariff: Price Held'

I was in the process of switching to GNE when they went bust so ended up with EDF. I've just had my first bill from June onwards and expected to be on the Deemed tariff from 4/10/21. But on this bill the rate is the same as the 'Welcome GNE Variable 2' tariff from 4/10/21 and it states 'Tariff: Price Held'. I presume this is an error and at some point they will correct it, so if that is the case, I'd rather they sorted it out now. Any idea why they may have done this before I spend hours waiting on the phone to speak to them?
Incidentally, I've not had a bill from EDF prior to this one, which would cover the period when I left Avro (I never actually was supplied by GNE) to June.

On your EDF online account and / or app is the tariff also showing as unchanged from the GNE Variable?
Suggest live chat, Twitter direct message or email rather than phone contact so you have a documentary record of communication.1 -
I went on LC last night and they were very helpful. They emailed me the missing bill and confirmed that the tariff was held as a goodwill gesture as it was my first bill. I've got a transcript confirming they won't go back on that gesture. Fair play to EDFFairzo said:On your EDF online account and / or app is the tariff also showing as unchanged from the GNE Variable?

Just until the date of the first bill, 24/10/21.Fairzo said:

Tariff: Price Held - This is usually only applied if your supply is in the process of changing to another supplier, when your existing tariff is ending, it holds the price until that change of supply process has finished. Have you signed up with another supplier recently ?

Spot on! I had started a switch to Avro but stopped it due to the impending fate of Avro. Thanks!Fred2712 said:Tariff: Price Held - This is usually only applied if your supply is in the process of changing to another supplier, when your existing tariff is ending, it holds the price until that change of supply process has finished.
