Currys PC World

I brought a docking station online from Currys, paid and selected to collect at store. When I arrived at the store they said they did not have it rven though their system stated it had been sent to the store. The store could not do anything and told me to contact customer servicrs, which I did. They stated they would have to do an investigation which could take 2 weeks and i could not have my product until after this was completed.

I pointed out that if they had lost it and had to do an internal invrstigation that was their issue and as i had paid for the product it was down to them to provide me with it. They refused until after their investigation. Despite many phone calls, being put on hold for lengthy periods and several promises for a manager to call me back, which never happened, i still do not have my docking station and have not been advised when i will recieve it.

There most be something that says once a product has been paid for it must be supplied?

Tell them you ewant to cancel the order and ask for a refund.. they can't refuse as you haven't had the goods and it's an online order.
  • Some free advice, don't use them again - by all means, look at the goods instore but buy elsewhere.
Curry, Dixons or whatever they call themselves are notorious for non-existent customer service.
If it wasn't there for you to pick up, you should have got the store to refund or them call up for refund,.

Anyway, I'd contact them in writing to give them 10 working days to refund and then contact your card issuer for chargeback.
