SAMSUNG Confirmed online order rejected

I paid in full and received order confirmation email.
I later received a text confirming delivery day.

I've just received a text saying the order was rejected due to pricing errors and I will be refunded.

Are they legally obligated to fulfil the order at the advertised price?

What sort of error are we talking about? A £400 phone for £200 or £40 - then fair enough that would clearly be an error, but say a £400 for £360 then I would argue that is NOT an error.

It would also depend on when they deem the contract to be formed e.g. upon delivery?

Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Pricing error   cost to you £500  but should have been £250 .
Then should you keep to the £500 .
  • There was a glitch a couple of days ago where someone posted on another site that discount codes were stacking. So you were getting two phones and galaxy buds worth over £1,000 for just over £500. And people are surprised Samsung cancelled the orders.

First of all, check their T&Cs as to when the contract is formed... most online sales are not bound until the goods are dispatched. Secondly check again for terms around pricing errors, most again reserve the right to cancel following an error. Even if there isnt such terms then an obvious error can still be cancelled but then you are into more subjective space.
