I understand that when travelling to USA after 8 November 2021 you need a negative test on entry, but do you now which type of test ie lateral flow or PCR and how many days before you travel do you take the test.

The FAQ 'what kind of COVID test 3 days before' says 'You must be tested with a viral test that could be either an antigen test or a nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT)'
Could someone translate: is a lateral flow test OK or must it be the other type. Thank you0 -
