08.09.2021 - it was confirmed on my last statement from Virgin that payment would be taken by direct debit on 24.10.2021.RandomUserID said:
When did you set up the DD?Jedi1873 said:Not a daft question - yes, there was more than enough! As far as I can tell, there is no reason as to why this payment was not taken. TSB are adamant that Virgin haven't tried to take the funds from my account, they have no record of it. Surely there'd be something on their system showing Virgin have requested payment?0 -
Then speak to Virgin Money. Ask them what details they supplied to TSB.Jedi1873 said:

Edit: Or you can look in the app to see what details are showing there.0 -
I know you have spoken to Virgin about the error, but given they have reversed the late payment fee themselves & you paid next day. There is a good chance it will never go onto your credit file.
But talk to them about it & if they say it will go on your file, then raise a complaint. Complaint team will look at it from a different point of view.Life in the slow lane0
