Removing potential late payment fees from credit file

    When did you set up the DD?
    08.09.2021 - it was confirmed on my last statement from Virgin that payment would be taken by direct debit on 24.10.2021.

    Then speak to Virgin Money.  Ask them what details they supplied to TSB.

    I know you have spoken to Virgin about the error, but given they have reversed the late payment fee themselves & you paid next day. There is a good chance it will never go onto your credit file.
    But talk to them about it & if they say it will go on your file, then raise a complaint. Complaint team will look at it from a different point of view.
